Honda and General Motors jointly developed the Prologue, a mid size battery electric crossover SUV that Honda markets in North America. Honda announced it in October 2022, and sales began in March 2024; it is Honda's first major electric vehicle, after a few low volume battery electric vehicles sold earlier in North America, including the Clarity, the Fit and the experimental EV Plus. Based heavily on the Chevrolet Blazer EV, the Prologue is comparable in size with the ICE powered Passport. Production at GM's Ramos Arizpe plant started in January 2024 and is expected to end in December 2026. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (2024 to 2026 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
