Honda previewed the first generation N-One, chassis JG1 and JG2, as the N Concept 4 at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show alongside the N-Box, N-WGN and N-Van, which together form Honda's renewed N lineup of kei class city cars. It went on sale on 1 November 2012, with styling reminiscent of the 1969 to 1972 N360, incorporating Honda's DOHC three cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission, launched in 2011 with the N-Box. It is marketed as an upmarket vehicle in the kei class and incorporates standard features uncommon for its class. Each model year has its own page.
