Honda made the Magna, a cruiser motorcycle, from 1982 to 1988 and again from 1994 to 2003. It was the second Honda to use the company's new V4 engine, shared with the VF750S Sabre, an engine descended from Honda's racing V4 machines. The line began with the 748 cc V45 Magna and grew to include the 1,098 cc V65, the 500 cc V30 and the tariff-driven 700 cc V42, and the third-generation Magna 750 of 1994 used a retuned engine from the VFR750F. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 3 generations: the first generation, V45 V65 V42 and V30 (1982 to 1986 model years); the second generation, Super Magna (1987 to 1988 model years); the third generation, VF750C (1994 to 2003 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
