The Juno K-series of 1954, the K, KA and KB, was Honda's first scooter. Production reached only 5,980 over a year and a half. Kihachiro Kawashima, who retired in 1979 as executive vice-president, recalled the bike as a splendid failure: the price was too high, the engine overheated, the body of FRP weighed more than expected and left the bike underpowered and clumsy, the new cantilevered suspension gave trouble, and customers did not like the clutch that worked like a motorcycle's. Larger vents at the rear and new vents on the windscreen distinguish the last Juno, the KB. Each model year has its own page.
