Honda released the fifth generation Inspire (CP3) in Japan on December 21, 2007, and like the fourth generation it was based on the eighth generation North American Accord, offered only as a sedan with a V6. A 3.5 L V6, the J35Z2 with i-VTEC and VCM, gave more power, with a similar 5 speed automatic transmission as before. Honda ended Japanese sales of this fifth generation Inspire in September 2012. Each model year has its own page.
