Honda Gold Wing (fifth generation, GL1800)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The fifth-generation Gold Wing, the GL1800, was the first new model for 13 years. A bigger 1,832 cc engine with fuel injection, producing 87 kW against 74 kW before, powered the 2001 GL1800, and its extruded aluminium frame had 31 elements, barely half as many as the GL1500, which cut overall weight. The 2010 model year was the last produced in the United States, and the Japanese-built updated model of the 2010s had restyled bodywork and a revised six-speaker audio system. Each model year has its own page.
