Honda made the Honda e, a battery electric car, and sold it in Japan from 2020 to 2024 and in Europe from 2020 to 2023. It is a supermini with a five door hatchback design and a battery electric powertrain that drives the rear wheels, styled with a retro look reminiscent of the first generation Civic. It was previewed by the 2017 Urban EV Concept, with the production version first shown publicly in 2019. In late 2023 Honda announced that production would cease in January 2024, with no plans for a second generation model, after approximately 12,500 units were sold globally in a period of 3 years. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (2019 to 2024 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
