Honda introduced the Super Dio (AF27) in 1991 as the second Dio generation, with a completely new chassis and more aerodynamic bodywork. Early AF27 models still used the AF18E engine with a 12 mm crankshaft and about 6.8 PS, and a speed-limiting CDI unit was introduced to comply with Japanese regulations restricting maximum moped speed. The Super Dio SR (AF28) arrived the same year and the performance-oriented Dio ZX in 1992, and a Canadian version based on the AF27 was sold from 1992 to 2001. Each model year has its own page.
