Honda Deauville

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda manufactured and marketed the Deauville, also designated NT650V and NT700V, a mid-range touring motorcycle, through a fifteen year production run, from 1998 to 2013, spanning three generations. It is named after the French seaside resort. Across all three generations the Deauville was known for its shaft-drive, liquid-cooled V-twin engine and extensive painted plastic bodywork with integrated panniers. The first generation of 1998 to 2001 had an engine capacity of 650 cc, the second generation of 2002 to 2005 had redesigned bodywork, and the third generation of 2006 to 2013 had an enlarged 680 cc engine and was renamed the NT700V Deauville. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 3 generations: the first generation, NT650V (1998 to 2001 model years); the second generation (2002 to 2005 model years); the third generation, NT700V (2006 to 2013 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
