Honda Cub F (single generation)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda Cub F had a single generation, produced from 1952 to 1954. It was a formative success for the young company, which gained its first nationwide network of independent dealers. Takeo Fujisawa, the managing director, started a direct mail campaign to the 50,000 bicycle dealers of the country, which brought about 30,000 replies, and 13,000 dealers were chosen, and he also started a hire-purchase scheme that let customers spread payments over 12 months. Each model year has its own page.
