Honda introduced the Cub F in 1952, a motorized bicycle that is sometimes also called a moped. It was a clip-on gasoline engine kit for bicycles produced by other manufacturers, identified by the slogan the white tank and the red engine, and popular for a design that prevented the two-stroke engine exhaust and oil from hitting the rider. The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan includes the 1952 Honda Cub F as one of its 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology. Production ceased in 1954. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (1952 to 1954 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
