Honda unveiled the second-generation Amaze, chassis DF5 and DF6, at India's Auto Expo in February 2018, and said it was built on its own platform derived from the sixth generation City. The looks were changed and the dimensions increased by a small margin, with ground clearance up by 5 mm to 170 mm, and the diesel engine option is available with a CVT as opposed to the previous torque converter automatic unit. The first grades offered were E, S, V and VX. A facelifted model was launched on 18 August 2021. Each model year has its own page.
