Hino Poncho

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Hino Poncho is a low-floor minibus produced by Hino Motors through the J-Bus joint venture. The buses are used as on-demand vehicles by many transport authorities, such as Translink. The first generation, built from 2002 to 2005, was based on the Fiat Ducato chassis, and the second generation, built from 2006 to the present, was developed from the Hino Liesse. A later second generation variant carries the type designation SDG or SKG-HX9JHBE or LBE from 2011.
