The Grumman C-2 Greyhound is a twin engine cargo aircraft that the United States Navy has used since 1966 to carry personnel, mail and supplies between shore bases and aircraft carriers at sea, a role known as carrier onboard delivery. Developed from the same airframe as the E-2 Hawkeye radar aircraft, it remained the Navy's primary fixed wing carrier delivery aircraft for decades, pending replacement by the tiltrotor CMV-22 Osprey.
