Ford Model A (1903)

Automobiles

The original Ford Model A was the first car the Ford Motor Company made, with production starting in 1903. Ernest Pfennig, a Chicago dentist, became its first owner on July 23, 1903, and 1,750 cars were made in 1903 and 1904 at the Ford Mack Avenue Plant, Ford's first facility, in Detroit. It was replaced by the Ford Model C during 1904. It is not the later Model A of 1927. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1903 to 1904).
