Ford Corsair (Australia)

Automobiles

The Corsair UA was Ford Australia's rebadged Nissan Pintara, itself a Bluebird, on sale from 1989 until 1992. Known during development as Project Matilda, it was produced under a model sharing scheme known as the Button Plan, in sedan and liftback forms. It was intended to replace the Mazda 626 based Ford Telstar and was discontinued when Nissan closed its Australian plant in 1992. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the UA (1989 to 1992).
