The Corcel was Ford's front wheel drive family car in Brazil, a design that Ford inherited when it bought Willys do Brasil in 1967 and that was based on the Renault 12. It appeared in 1968, before the Renault, as a sedan, with a coupe and a wagon called the Belina later, and a sporty GT. A squarer Corcel II replaced it in 1978, and the Del Rey and the Pampa pickup grew from it. It ended in 1986. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the Corcel I (1968 to 1977); the Corcel II (1978 to 1986).
