Fiat 632

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Fiat 632 was a heavy Italian lorry made by Fiat Veicoli Industriali from 1931 and the firm's first heavy diesel truck. It was a two-axle chassis with single steering wheels in front and paired driven wheels behind. The first series carried a Fiat 350 four-cylinder direct-injection diesel of 5,570 cubic centimetres; the N1 series of 1933 raised the output and a lowered 632 RN chassis was supplied to bus builders. The 1934 633N brought a rounded cab and grille and served as the base for military versions in diesel, petrol and producer-gas form. The 633 stayed in production until the end of 1939, when the cab-forward Fiat 666 replaced it.
