The Fiat 507/F was a light commercial vehicle derived from the Fiat 507 car, which was built in 1926 and 1927. It replaced the Fiat 505/F launched in 1923. Fiat V.I. supplied it as a cab chassis or a bare chassis to specialist coachbuilders, who fitted it as pickup-type vans, closed vans and buses seating 25. A military version, the 507/FA, was made in 1928 and 1929. The bus body by Carrozzeria Emiliana Renzo Orlandi is regarded by the Italian maker as the first example of the modern midibus and minibus, compact at 2.3 metres wide by 5.4 metres long and carrying 13 passenger seats plus the driver and a ticket puncher. The 507/F stayed in production until 1928.
