The Eunos Roadster is the Japanese market name of the first generation Mazda MX-5, code NA, built from 1989 to 1997 and sold in North America as the Mazda MX-5 Miata. In Japan the car was not badged as a Mazda, as the company was launching different marques for deluxe models, similar to Nissan's Infiniti, Honda's Acura and Toyota's Lexus, and it was sold at Eunos dealers. It was inspired by the post war British sports cars and rejuvenated interest in roadsters. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the NA (1989 to 1997).
