Edsel Corsair

Automobiles

The Edsel Corsair was a model line of the Edsel division of Ford, sold for the 1958 and 1959 model years. For 1958 it was built on the longer, wider Edsel platform shared with Mercury, and for 1959 it moved to the Ranger platform used by Ford. Its name had been used earlier on the Henry J by the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, and the 410 cubic inch MEL V8 of 345 horsepower was standard in the 1958 Corsair, along with the Citation. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1958 and 1959 model years).
