The Edge class is a group of cruise ships built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire for Celebrity Cruises, a Royal Caribbean Group brand. The lead ship, Celebrity Edge, was delivered on 31 October 2018, followed by Celebrity Apex in 2020, Celebrity Beyond in 2022, Celebrity Ascent in 2023 and Celebrity Xcel in 2025, with a sixth ship, Celebrity Xcite, ordered for 2028. The first two have a gross tonnage of 130,818; later ships were stretched by 20 metres to about 140,600 gross tons. The design is known for its reversed bow and the Magic Carpet platform on the outer hull, and each ship is reported to cost about one billion US dollars.
