The Duryea Motor Wagon is an early American automobile built by brothers Charles and Frank Duryea, first successfully run on the streets of Springfield, Massachusetts in 1893. It is widely credited as the first gasoline powered car built and driven in the United States, and the Duryea brothers went on to found one of the country's earliest automobile manufacturing companies to build further copies of the design.
