The Dornier Drohne Anti-Radar, usually shortened to DAR, was a German unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Dornier GmbH to find and destroy enemy radar sites, especially those of air defence systems, inside a chosen target area. It was meant to double as a decoy that drew fire away from crewed aircraft. The delta-winged drone was built of composite materials and was launched from a tube by a booster rocket, after which a two-stroke boxer engine drove a pusher propeller. A passive broadband seeker was to cover every radar in the target catalogue, but a workable seeker head could not be developed. That failure, together with the end of the Cold War, ended the project in 1994 and the system never entered service. Examples are held by the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung in Koblenz.
