The Dixi TL 25 was a commercial truck of the Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach, later the Dixi-Werke, sold under the Dixi marque. The German Wikipedia list of Dixi models names it the Dixi Schnell-Lastwagen TL 25, a fast truck. A history of the works in the Axel Oskar Mathieu archive describes the 2.5 tonne box van model T.L. 25 of the 1911 delivery programme, rated 35 PS, and says that in 1916 the factory began building the type as a standard three tonne army truck with cardan drive, supplied with chain drive when rubber for tyres ran short. After the First World War the same name appears on a 24/45 PS three tonne chassis, and the Mathieu history says Dixi lorry production ended when BMW took over the works in 1928.
