Denza Z

Automobiles

The Denza Z is a battery electric sports car produced by BYD Auto and sold under its Denza marque since 2026. It was shown as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show on 23 April 2025, designed by Wolfgang Egger, the head designer of the BYD group and a former lead designer for Audi, Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo, and it shares design cues with the Fangchengbao Super 9 concept. The concept had a large spoiler, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, frameless windows with camera mirrors and a fold-away steer-by-wire steering wheel. The production car was unveiled at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show on 24 April 2026, first as a convertible Spider, and the United Kingdom is to be its first export market. It shares the e3 platform with the Denza Z9 and has a double wishbone front suspension, but no power figure is confirmed.
