The Dennis Dragon, also sold as the Dennis Condor, was a three-axle step-entrance double-decker bus built by Dennis in England from 1982 to 1999. It was developed for Kowloon Motor Bus in Hong Kong, whose name means Nine Dragons, and buses of the same type for China Motor Bus carried the Condor name so the two buyers could be told apart; Dennis had registered Condor in the 1950s for a lightweight haulage chassis. The chassis grew out of the two-axle Dominator with two separate wheels ahead of the rear axle, and used Gardner or Cummins engines with Voith or ZF gearboxes. Nearly all had Duple Metsec bodywork. Kowloon Motor Bus bought hundreds, including 765 air-conditioned examples up to 1999, and Citybus and Stagecoach in Kenya and Malawi also used them. The Dennis Trident 3 replaced it.
