The Citroen C4 X is a longer sedan version of the third-generation Citroen C4, unveiled in June 2022 and the first Citroen designed under the supervision of Pierre Leclercq. Citroen describes it as merging the elements of a fastback, a four-door saloon and an SUV. It has the same wheelbase as the C4 but a traditional sedan-style boot that raises cargo capacity from 380 to 510 litres. An electric version, the ë-C4 X, is the only one offered in many countries, such as the United Kingdom, the Benelux countries, Portugal, Germany, Austria and the Nordic countries, where the combustion version was not sold, although customer demand brought the combustion version to the United Kingdom in June 2023. The model was facelifted at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, and in April 2025 Kasrawy Group began assembling the facelifted car in Egypt.

2025 facelift
On 16 April 2025, Kasrawy Group, in cooperation with Stellantis, has begun assembling the new Citroën C4X facelift in Egypt at the Arab American Vehicles Company (AAV) plant.
