The Citroen C3 Aircross is a name Citroen has given to several small sport utility vehicles rather than to a single design. The first, sold from 2010, was the Brazilian version of the C3 Picasso given a raised stance and SUV styling, built at Porto Real in Brazil and exported across South America, and it could run on E85 bioethanol. A separate European model arrived in 2017 as a subcompact SUV sharing its platform with the Opel Crossland X, was facelifted in 2021 and ended production in 2024 after roughly 600,000 units at Zaragoza. From 2023 the name returned for a larger SUV with an optional third row in India and Latin America, and a second European generation followed in 2024 with petrol, mild hybrid and battery electric versions.
