The Chrysler Valiant CL was the twelfth Australian Chrysler Valiant, produced by Chrysler Australia from 1976 to 1978 and replacing the VK. It was also built in South Africa by Sigma, which sold it as the Chrysler SE. The CL had new grilles, a new nose cone and bonnet, and new rear panels on the sedans, and the Regal and Charger models were not designated as Valiants. A limited edition Chrysler Le Baron luxury model was announced in April 1978 and 400 were built.
