Chrysler Nassau

Automobiles

Nassau is the name that Chrysler used on several vehicles. It was first a trim level in 1955, the least expensive two-door hardtop in the Chrysler Windsor series, and later the name of two concept cars. The first, a 2000 styling exercise penned by Chrysler designer Robert Hubbach, became a working model that engineers and stylists used to create the Chrysler 300 sedan introduced in 2005, losing very few exterior details, although its taillamps wrapped over the rear fenders. The second was shown at the 2007 North American International Auto Show, described by Chrysler as a four-door coupe although in fact a shooting-brake, with a 425 horsepower 6.1 litre V8.
