The Chrysler Executive was a factory-built limousine that Chrysler offered from 1983 through 1986. It was a stretched version of the front-wheel-drive Chrysler LeBaron, built on the lengthened E-body platform rather than the rear-wheel-drive M-body used by the Fifth Avenue, and it aimed at the booming limousine market of the early 1980s. Together with the 1985 to 1987 Cadillac Series 75 it was one of only two factory-offered limousines of the decade that drove only the front wheels. Two dark red prototypes from 1982 were shown at car shows, and production cars were converted from LeBaron coupes by a specialist near St. Louis.
