The Chrysler Citadel was a concept car shown at the 2000 Washington DC Auto Show. It was a hybrid with good performance and the inspiration for the production Pacifica, and its name was later used for a trim level on the Dodge Durango. A 3.5 litre gasoline V6 of 253 horsepower drove the rear wheels and an electric motor of an extra 70 horsepower drove the front wheels, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, which gave better performance in the rear.
