The Chrysler Atlantic was a retro concept car created by Chrysler and fabricated by Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters in California, first shown in 1995. Bob Hubbach designed it, inspired by the Bugatti Atlantique, from a napkin sketch by Chrysler president Bob Lutz in early 1993 with chief designer Tom Gale. Its engine was a straight eight built from two four-cylinder Dodge Neon engines, with around 360 horsepower and a transaxle from the Chrysler LHS, on a 128 inch wheelbase, with Art Deco style gauges inside. It was one of Chrysler's most popular concept vehicles and still makes occasional public appearances.
