The Chrysler Airflite was a concept car created by Chrysler and first shown at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show. Its looks combined a sporty design with cues from the Crossfire, and it was based on a shortened version of the LX platform used on the Chrysler 300, powered by a 90 degree V6 engine whose power and torque were never made public. It had the shape of a sporty two-door coupe but the practicality of a four-door sedan, with a spacious interior, a center spine running from the dashboard to the back and a raised cargo floor, and its styling cues reached the 2007 Chrysler Sebring. The name echoes the Nash Airflyte of 1949.
