The Celebrity was Chevrolet's front drive mid size car for the 1982 to 1990 model years, a single generation that succeeded the rear drive Malibu and shared the A platform with the Buick Century, Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera and Pontiac 6000 as coupe, sedan and wagon, and became one of the best known examples of General Motors rebadging, once the best selling car in the United States.
