The Cadillac Imaj is a concept car that Cadillac unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000, a luxurious liftback that carried forward the sharp-edged Art and Science design theme of the Evoq concept shown a year earlier. It was powered by a 4.2 litre, 32-valve supercharged Northstar V8 producing 425 horsepower, driving all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, and had StabiliTrak active suspension, Brembo brakes and Goodyear run-flat tires. The cabin was a showcase for technology, with a Delphi infotainment system using IBM ThinkPads that provided internet, fax, navigation and other services, passenger screens, a head-up display, fingerprint biometric security, night vision, radar parking alerts and adaptive cruise control, plus ventilated first-class seating, adjustable pedals, aluminium luggage and a Bvlgari clock.
