BYD Song L DM-i

The BYD Song L DM-i is a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV made by BYD Auto since 2024 within the Dynasty Series Song family, sold through Dynasty Network dealerships. In the range it sits between the smaller Song Pro and the larger Tang DM-i. Despite the shared name it has little in common in styling or hardware with the battery electric Song L EV, and is instead positioned like the BYD Song Plus sold through the Ocean Network, using the same plug-in hybrid system. It went on sale in China in July 2024 alongside the updated Song Plus, and uses BYD fifth-generation DM-i 5.0 system. Its boot holds 459 litres and grows to 1,550 litres with the rear seats folded, and the cabin has a rotating 15.6 inch touchscreen and a 50 inch head-up display.
