The BYD Seal 07 is a full-size sedan that BYD Auto has built since 2023 and sold through Ocean Network dealerships, positioned as an alternative to the Dynasty Network BYD Han. It began as the Destroyer 07 prototype shown at the 2023 Auto Shanghai, was meant to be the third car of the Warship Series, and went on sale in September 2023 as the Seal DM-i, taking the Seal 07 name in 2024. Wolfgang Egger's design carries over the look of the electric Seal. It was a plug-in hybrid only until the 2026 model year, when a battery electric Seal 07 EV was introduced in China on 1 March 2026. A 2025 facelift added a roof-mounted lidar for the God's Eye B driver assistance system, and a second generation with a redesigned interior and a 20-speaker Devialet sound system was revealed through filings on 7 August 2026.
