BYD Seal 06 GT

The BYD Seal 06 GT is a battery electric mid-size hatchback made by BYD Auto and part of the Seal family in the Ocean Series, positioned below the Seal sedan. It was first shown as a concept called the BYD Ocean-M at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024, the production car appeared at the Chengdu Motor Show in August 2024, and it was launched in China on 18 October 2024. It rides on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo, an evolution of the earlier e-Platform 3.0, with a rear-wheel-drive option or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout whose iTAC system manages torque. Styling features a low closed grille, a honeycomb lower intake and a wave-shaped tail-light bar echoing the Ocean line. Inside are a 10.25 inch instrument panel, a 12 inch head-up display and a rotating touchscreen, and the DiPilot 5 driver assistance system uses up to 12 ultrasonic radars and four panoramic cameras.
