BYD Seal 05 DM-i

Automobiles

The BYD Seal 05 DM-i is a plug-in hybrid compact sedan that BYD Auto has built since 2025. It is part of the Seal family and a restyled and updated version of the Destroyer 05, sold through Ocean Network dealerships as the sister model of the Dynasty Series Qin Plus. It debuted in January 2025, pre-sales began on 7 January and it launched on 10 February 2025 with three variants. Because it is a facelifted Destroyer 05, it keeps that car's body and differs in its restyled front and rear and a redesigned interior, with double wave-shaped LED headlights, a full-width rear light bar and a trunk of 508 litres. It uses BYD's fifth-generation DM-i system, a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a single front electric motor producing 194 kilowatts, and a 15.87 kilowatt-hour Blade battery for 128 kilometres of electric range. In the Philippines it is sold as the Seal 5 DM-i.
