Buick Skyhawk

Automobiles

The Buick Skyhawk is an automobile produced by Buick in two generations for the 1975 through 1989 model years. The first generation, from 1975 to 1980, was a two-door hatchback on the subcompact, rear-wheel-drive H-body platform, a badge engineered entry-level version of the Chevrolet Monza, which was itself based on the Chevrolet Vega, and its only engine was a V6. A subcompact was a new approach for Buick and General Motors, with a similar approach from Oldsmobile with the Starfire hatchback.
