The British Rail Class 801 Azuma is an electric multiple unit built by Hitachi Rail for London North Eastern Railway as the electric-only member of the Intercity Express Programme order, closely related to the bi-mode Class 800 within the Hitachi AT300 product family. The units have been built since 2017 at Hitachi's Newton Aycliffe Manufacturing Facility and have worked services on the East Coast Main Line since 16 September 2019, when a pair of five-car units ran several services between Leeds and London King's Cross and one return trip to Newark Northgate. London North Eastern Railway brands the units Azuma, as it does its Class 800 units.
