The Authi MG 1100 was the Spanish-built version of the MG 1100, the more upmarket and sportier variant of the BMC ADO16 small family car, assembled by Authi at Pamplona. Sources differ on when it appeared. The English Wikipedia article on Authi says the first Spanish-built Authi product, an MG 1100, emerged in January 1967, and a classic car insurer's history says local production of the Morris 1100 began in 1966 and the MG 1100 followed in 1967, while the ADO16 timeline dates the launch of the Authi MG 1100 four-door saloon to January 1968. In its Spanish form it had a twin carburettor engine of 55 bhp, a strip speedometer and an interior designed by Innocenti. In October 1968 the Authi MG 1300 replaced it.
