Austin Victoria

Automobiles

The Austin Victoria was a four-door saloon built by Authi at Pamplona from 1972 to 1975, the Spanish development of the BMC ADO16 family. It used a restyled body that Leykor in South Africa had introduced a year earlier as the Austin Apache, with a tail reminiscent of the Triumph 2000 Mk II and four headlamps at the front, and it was powered by a 1275 cc overhead-valve four-cylinder engine. A more luxurious Victoria De Luxe was sold alongside it. In 1972 it replaced the standard ADO16 models in the Spanish range, and only 24,682 cars left the factory before production ended in 1975.
