Albion Reiver

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Albion Reiver was a six-wheeled lorry built by Albion Motors at its Scotstoun works in Glasgow. It belonged to the post-war Albion truck range with the Chieftain, Claymore, Clansman and Clydesdale, and with the Chieftain and Clydesdale it stayed in production after Leyland Motors bought Albion in 1951 and after the British Leyland Motor Corporation was formed in 1968, until British Leyland eliminated the Albion name in 1972. The history consulted gives no introduction date for the Reiver, so none is recorded.
