In June 2026 Ford issued a recall order of over 741,000 vehicles in the United States, including the Aviator. The 2026 Aviator was the second model year of the facelift that was revealed in February 2024, a mid size three row luxury SUV of the Lincoln brand that was reintroduced for the 2020 model year after a hiatus since 2006, built at Chicago Assembly. It was offered with a plug in hybrid variant and was also sold in China as the Feixingjia.
