The Bronco New Energy is Ford's first extended range electric vehicle, though it is also sold as a battery electric version, and its wheelbase is the same as that of the regular four door Bronco but it is eight inches longer overall. In 2026 it was sold in China, where the Bronco Sport is not offered. The Bronco New Energy is a mid size SUV that Ford's Chinese joint venture builds, and it is not mechanically related to the American Bronco.
