2026 BMW 5 Series

In September 2026 BMW Group India launched the locally assembled i5 long wheelbase in India at an introductory price of 79.6 lakh rupees. The 2026 model year thus saw the G60 being assembled outside Germany for a new market, in addition to Dingolfing and the Chinese plant. The G60 range now covered saloon, Touring and the i5 electric. India's local assembly of the i5 followed the earlier Chinese long wheelbase production of the G68.
