The CX-3 remained in production in 2025 in Mexico and Thailand, in the tenth year of the nameplate, with imported cars from Thailand serving the Japanese market. The CX-30, which has the same fourth generation Mazda3 underpinnings, was the larger subcompact SUV in the range, and the CX-3 had no successor announced. The Japanese model would be discontinued the next year. In the United States it came with a 2.0 liter Skyactiv-G engine, a six speed automatic and optional all wheel drive.
